Privacy Policy

Last Update:

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to say it plainly — because privacy shouldn't require a translator.

Introduction

DesignCore ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose information when you visit our website, engage our services, or communicate with our team.

By using our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you book a call, sign up as a client, or contact us, we may collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number, and company.

  • Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

  • Brand & project assets — materials you share with us to deliver creative work, including logos, imagery, copy, and account access.

  • Communication records — emails, messages, and call notes relevant to your engagement.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we automatically collect certain technical information:

  • IP address and approximate location (country and city level).

  • Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.

  • Pages visited, time spent, and referral source.

  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 07).

Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from integrated services you authorize, such as social media platforms, analytics providers, or scheduling tools like Calendly.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve our services.

  • To process payments and manage your account.

  • To communicate with you about your engagement, respond to inquiries, and send important service updates.

  • To create and deliver the creative work you've engaged us for.

  • To analyze website usage and improve our user experience.

  • To comply with legal obligations and protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats.

  • With your consent, to send occasional updates about new services or insights.

Legal Basis for Processing

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with similar data protection laws, we process your personal information on the following legal grounds:

  • Contract — processing necessary to deliver services you've engaged us for.

  • Legitimate interests — operating, improving, and securing our business.

  • Consent — where you've given us clear permission, such as for marketing communications.

  • Legal obligation — complying with applicable laws and regulations.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in the following limited circumstances:

Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate our business, including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, scheduling (Calendly), cloud storage (Google Workspace), analytics, and project management. These providers are bound by contractual obligations to handle your information securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DesignCore, our clients, or the public.

Business Transfers

If DesignCore is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same protections described in this policy.

With Your Consent

We may share information in any other way with your explicit consent — for example, featuring your project in our portfolio.

AI & Your Data

As an AI-powered creative studio, transparency about our AI use is essential. Here is what you should know:

  • We use commercial AI tools in our creative workflow — including large language models, image generation, and video processing services from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and others.

  • We do not opt client data into training datasets. Where providers offer enterprise or zero-retention plans that prevent data from being used for model training, we use them by default for client work.

  • We never upload sensitive client data — financials, user lists, unreleased strategy, or confidential information — to public-tier AI tools.

  • You can request a summary of which AI tools were used in the production of any deliverable.

  • Final creative output is always reviewed, directed, and approved by human creative leads before delivery.

If you prefer that no generative AI tools be used in the creation of your deliverables, please notify us in writing before work begins, and we will accommodate where feasible.

Cookies & Analytics

Our website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate the site, understand how visitors engage with our content, and improve performance.

Types of Cookies

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function.

  • Analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate visitor behavior.

  • Preference cookies — remember choices like language or region.

Your Choices

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Note that disabling cookies may affect your experience on our site. We honor browser-level "Do Not Track" signals where technically feasible.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

  • Active client records — retained for the duration of the engagement and up to seven (7) years after termination for tax and accounting purposes.

  • Project deliverables & working files — retained for two (2) years after project completion, then archived or deleted.

  • Marketing contacts — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

  • Website analytics — aggregated data retained up to twenty-six (26) months.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encryption in transit, access controls, vendor review, and regular security hygiene.

However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

Correction

Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.

Deletion

Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal obligations.

International Data Transfers

DesignCore operates globally, and your personal information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction.

When we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission — to ensure your data continues to receive adequate protection.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under the age of sixteen (16). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
